Cac Reader For A Mac

I recently bought a CAC reader so I could log into AKO and I have no idea how to use it. I use a MacBook pro so I'm not sure if I need software or what but i'm doing something wrong.

Looking to purchase a SmartCard reader for a Mac. Any brand or specific reader in particular that you would recommend that is compatible/works.
The Belkin F1DN008Utt is a cost-effective smart card reader meeting ISO7816 standards, including CAC and PIV. The reader offers broad smart card compatibility, including Class A, B, C (5V, 3V, 1.8V) and is FIPS 201 compliant.
