Your MacBook has the capability to function not only as a computer, but also as an e-reader. An e-reader is a device that enables a user to read digital books and magazines. Although there are e-reader devices that you can buy to store and read e-books, you can also download an e-reader application to your MacBook to accomplish the same goal. The content that you can access on an e-reader application varies depending on the application's manufacturer.

1.

Download an e-reader application to your MacBook. Examples of e-reader applications that are designed for the Mac operating system are: Nook for Mac, Kindle for Mac and eReader Pro for Macintosh. The application's installation window opens after the download is complete.
